The Single Phase Hybrid Solar Inverter Hypontech HHS-6000 High Voltage Battery Charger with Grid Injection 6 kW is an inverter that can charge high voltage batteries and can also be connected to the electrical grid. They are the most interesting investors because during the day they charge the battery with the excess energy, and thus it can be used at night to be as self-sufficient as possible. At night the battery provides us with electrical energy and when the battery is about to run out it would begin to consume energy from the electrical network.
These types of inverters are specially designed to reduce the electricity bill as much as possible. Its value for money is extremely attractive and the return on investment is very interesting. It can charge all kinds of high voltage batteries. Each Battery works at 48V, consequently, to achieve High Voltage we must connect several batteries in series to increase their voltage. This inverter allows you to work with or without batteries. This inverter is compatible with High Voltage batteries with a range of 80-480V. The smallest battery system you could charge would be 3 high voltage batteries in series and a high voltage BMS
During the day, the excess energy is used to charge the batteries, but once the battery is fully charged, the excess energy would be fed into the network. Energy traders have surplus compensation systems to be able to sell excess energy. If you want to block the excess energy produced by the inverter, you will need to purchase a zero discharge and monitoring kit that is sold separately. By blocking the excess energy, the inverter is no longer connected to the general electricity grid and its start-up would be much faster because the approval of the Ministry of Industry or the Inspection of the Regulatory Body would no longer be necessary.
The Inverter has several MPPT inputs. The MPPT (Maximum PowerPoint Tracking) tracker makes sure to find the point where the solar panels generate the maximum output power. The MPPT work between 80 and 520V DC. The inverter can charge and discharge the battery at a current of 25A.
It allows connection by Wi-Fi and by LAN RJ45 cable that is purchased separately. Thanks to the App for iOS and Android (Hypon Cloud) you can monitor the inverter at all times. If you want to monitor both the solar production and the consumption of the home, you must purchase the Smart meter that is sold separately. This inverter can be installed both indoors and outdoors thanks to its IP65 protection level.
