The light source is protected by tempered glass with an IP66 protection factor that makes it weatherproof. The body of the luminaire has been manufactured using the injection moulding method to ensure the optimum quality of the heat sink, in high quality aluminium. It has an internal hinge that enhances its aesthetics without losing versatility. It has been given an anti-corrosion treatment, both chemical and mechanical, resistant to UV rays, which further improves its aesthetic durability. In addition, for greater safety, the luminaire is fitted with a surge protector.
Equipped with the latest lighting technologies, this street light incorporates a high-power LUMILEDS SMD 5050 SMD technology light source with a high luminous efficiency. Lumileds is a company dedicated to the development, manufacture and distribution of lighting and also holds more than 200 patents related to LED technology.

Including a PHILIPS Xitanium Driver, this Driver has a Multi-Voltage input and output. The driver with its SimpleSet feature, has a wireless interface for quick and easy setup without the need for power supply and a stand-alone or fixed time based dimming FTBD via integrated 5-step DynaDimmer.
The driver is responsible for transforming the AC mains current into DC current suitable for lighting the LED chips. The Xitanium Driver incorporated in this luminaire is from the prestigious company PHILIPS, one of the most innovative and prestigious brands in the lighting industry. This range of drivers offers unique reliability and flexibility, providing high performance and optimum efficiency of the LEDs, in addition, it is specially designed for street lighting. This driver features an IP67 protection rating that protects against moisture, vibration and temperature, ensuring maximum durability. In addition, the luminaire has an overvoltage protector for greater safety.
By default the luminaire driver is programmed in 4 steps:
Step 1: First hour → Brightness at 60%.
Step 2: Second hour → Brightness at 70%.
Step 3: Third hour - Brightness at 80%
Step 4: Fourth hour → Brightness at 90% Step 5: Fifth hour to 90% brightness
Step 5: Fifth hour to shutdown → Brightness at 100% Step 6: Fifth hour to shutdown → Brightness at 100% Step 7: Fifth hour to shutdown → Brightness at 100% Step 8: Fifth hour to shutdown
