The 5-10kW Three Phase GoodWe EH Hybrid Solar Inverter High Voltage Battery Charger with Grid Injection is an inverter that can charge high voltage batteries and can also be connected to the grid. They are the most interesting inverters because during the day they charge the battery with the surplus energy and so it can be used at night to be as self-sufficient as possible. At night the battery provides us with electrical energy and when the battery is about to run out, it would start consuming energy from the grid.
This type of inverter is specially designed to reduce the electricity bill as much as possible. Their price-performance ratio is extremely attractive and the return on investment is very interesting. It can charge all types of high voltage batteries. Each battery works at 48V, therefore, to get the high voltage we must connect several batteries in series to increase their voltage. This inverter can work with or without batteries.
During the day, the surplus energy is used to charge the batteries, but once the battery is fully charged, the surplus energy is fed into the grid. Energy traders have surplus energy compensation systems to be able to sell the surplus energy. If you wish to block the surplus energy produced by the inverter you will need to purchase a monitoring and zero discharge kit which is sold separately. By blocking the surplus energy the inverter is no longer connected to the grid and commissioning would be much quicker as it would no longer require approval from the Ministry of Industry or Regulatory Body Inspection.

The Inverter has several MPPT inputs. The MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) ensures that it finds the point where the solar panels generate the maximum power output. MPPTs work between 125 and 550V DC. The inverter can charge and discharge the battery at a current of 25A.
It can be connected via Wifi and RJ45 LAN cable which is purchased separately. Thanks to the App for iOS and Android (PV Master) you can monitor the inverter at all times. If you wish to monitor both the solar production and the consumption of your home, you will need to purchase the Smart meter, which is sold separately. This inverter can be installed both indoors and outdoors thanks to its IP65 protection level.
