The GU5.3 MR16 7.5W 36º 12V Philips ExpertColour LED Lamp allows us to replace conventional lamps, such as owl-eye lamps, and maintaining our current installation.
With a 500 lumen brightness, it's comparable to a 50W halogen bulb and the energy savings this bulb provides are very noticeable. It's important to point out that this bulb has a Colour Rendering Index of 92, meaning colours are represented in a realistic manner. Natural light has a CRI that's 100. A high CRI is important for lighting in clothes outlets, photography studios or for designers, for example. The width of the light beam of this GU5.3 MR16 7.5W 36º 12V Philips ExpertColour LED Lamp is ideal for ambient lighting or for making certain elements of a space stand out.
By using a GU5.3 bi-pin connection and working at 12V, we won't have to worry about removing transformers or changing lamp holders. Simply remove the current bulb and install the new Philips bulb.
