The main function of the Emergency Kit for Permanent/Non-Permanent LED Luminaires is to provide power in the event of a power failure for any type of LED luminaire such as watertight screens or panels. It maintains the autonomy of the luminaire on for up to 90 minutes. It can work with any kind of LED light, from 200W UFO High bays to 40W panels.
This module can be configured in two different ways.
1 - As a permanent emergency light luminaire:
Installation: Connect the driver of the light fitting to the emergency module following the installation diagram. It is very important to comply with cable polarity.
Operation: The mains current supplies the luminaire and charges the module's battery at the same time. When the luminaire is switched off, it is permanently switched on and is supplied by the battery with 7Wof power.
2 - As a non-permanent emergency light luminaire:
Installation: Connect the input of the emergency module to the mains power supply where the emergency lighting is connected. Connect the input of the luminaire driver in to the mains.
The output of the light fitting's driver is connected to the overhead connections of the emergency module. The luminaire input (without driver) is connected to the lower part of the emergency module connections. It is important to comply with the polarity of the cables.
Operation: The emergency network charges the battery and in the event of a power failure, the Emergency Module is given the signal to automatically switch on the luminaire using the battery.
