The Goodwe SMART METER 24h Consumption Analyser Meter Kit for zero discharge is a necessary accessory to configure the injection to 0 of GoodWe inverters, as well as in inverters of any brand. We have two models, the three-phase model HK3000 and the single-phase HK1000 with which you can measure the current discharged to the grid.
The Goodwe SMART METER 24h Consumption Analyser Meter Kit for zero discharge consists of a communication module (HomeKit) and a digital meter for 24-hour electricity consumption monitoring (Smart Meter). This analyzer is able to measure the consumption of the home or industry, constantly adapting the power delivered by the photovoltaic system to the consumption of the installation. It is a necessary accessory if we wish to configure the self-consumption photovoltaic installation so that it does not feed energy into the electricity grid.
The meter is connected as follows: The WiFi antenna is connected to the upper part of the communication module and the connection for the LAN network is connected to the lower part.
For the single-phase model, two current transformers (CT) are connected to the upper part of the Smart Meter: CT1 is connected to the grid connection point, while CT2 is connected to the inverter output. For the three-phase model, three current transformers (CT) are connected to the top of the Smart Meter, TC1, TC2 and TC3, all three are connected to the grid connection point.
Mode of operation: For example, if the house consumes 3 kW and the solar plant is generating 2 kW the meter would only consume 1 kW from the meter. On the other hand, if there are surpluses, the meter can discharge to the grid or zero discharge depending on the configuration that we have made.
It is ideal for the pricing of the energy of your home or company and on the other hand, it allows you to manage the surplus production of the photovoltaic installations of self-consumption "On grid", performing zero injection or controlled injection depending on the needs of the moment. The portal where we consult this monitoring and management data is the platform called SEMS. Communication between the inverter and the analyser meter is via an RS485 interface and it is with this protocol that the meter informs the inverter whether there is discharge or not. The meter is mounted on DIN rail and can measure a multitude of electrical quantities and also performs bidirectional energy measurement calculating: kWh and kVArh.
