What are the differences between T8 and T5 LED tubes?

The T8 and T5 LED tube models are widely used today, although each has its own characteristics and particularities that make them especially suitable for certain types of environment. T8 models have a larger diameter than T5 tubes and are also on average up to five centimetres longer. Because they are smaller and more manageable, T5 LED tubes are often used additionally as a lighting system in houses and other domestic environments. T8 LED tubes emit a more powerful light than T5 tubes, so they are also a perfect choice for lighting garages, workshops or certain commercial premises where the light will be on for long periods of time.
