PYLONTECH 48V H48074 3.6 kWh Lithium Batteries are a special High Voltage battery model. Each battery operates at 48V, therefore, to achieve High Voltage we must connect several batteries in series to increase their voltage and thus be able to work with High Voltage inverters, which as a general rule, require a minimum battery voltage of 180V to operate.
A maximum of seven high voltage batteries can be connected in series per separately sold Pylontech BMS module. The smallest high voltage battery system that can be installed is four High Voltage Batteries and one BMS that will fit neatly into a U16 Battery Rack. If you wish to install more batteries, a larger rack would be required. Several groups of seven batteries can be connected in parallel, they are called "PowerCube H1".
It is a perfect solution for installations where high power is required, such as solar installations with three-phase hybrid inverters. The great advantage offered by the PYLONTECH solution is the compatibility with many brands of inverters on the market, a very attractive price given its characteristics and a modular format for installation in a 19' rack.
Characteristics of the PYLONTECH High Voltage 48V Lithium Battery US3000C 3.6 kWh
Lithium batteries stand out for their long lifespan, as they have more than 4000 charge cycles, with a depth of discharge of 80%, so they have a very long lifespan compared to monoblock, AGM, stationary and gelled electrolyte batteries.
It incorporates different communication protocols (RS485/CAN) that allow the batteries to communicate with each other and with a BMS (Battery Management System). It is a sealed module designed to be installed indoors, it offers all its features without the need for any maintenance throughout its service life.
ACCESSORIES REQUIRED for PYLONTECH High Voltage 48V Lithium Battery US3000C 3.6 kWh
These batteries do not have an internal BMS (Battery Management System) module, for this an external PYLONTECH BMS module is needed to monitor the state of charge of the batteries and prevent them from discharging below the maximum depth of discharge indicated by the manufacturer, extending the life of the batteries. They also keep track of voltage, current and temperature.
A maximum of seven high voltage batteries can be connected in series for each external BMS module, if a higher capacity is desired, several racks of seven batteries can be connected in parallel, namely "PowerCube H1".
